We’re looking for a senior backend engineer with cloud experience who enjoys moving fast, taking real ownership, and building things that actually have an impact. We work from the office because we think it makes us better, especially at this stage.

What you’ll do

• Building, optimizing and scaling robust financial backend systems using Node.js and SQL (Postgres)

• Working primarily in the backend while contributing to our cloud infrastructure, helping design and operate systems across networking, servers and database architectures to support scalable and reliable services.

• Contributing to system architecture to ensure scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability of financial systems.

• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to shape both product direction and business strategy.

• Sharing backend expertise with the team while promoting best practices, along with strong cloud and infrastructure competence.

Our main stack is TypeScript, Node.js, React, React Native running on Google Cloud Platform.

• Have solid experience building backend systems with Node.js and working with cloud platforms such as GCP.

You’re comfortable with things like:

• Strong background in backend development with Node.js and SQL databases (preferably Postgres).

• Experience in designing, deploying and monitoring solutions on major cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS or Azure.

• At least 5 years of professional experience, ideally in high-stakes environments like finance.

• Passionate about solving complex backend problems with clean, pragmatic solutions.

• Solid understanding of system design and architecture.

• Bonus if you’ve worked with React, Python, Go, GraphQL, Kubernetes or DevOps with Github Actions.

• EU work authorization required.
