What you will be doing

Now we’re looking for a Senior Node.js Developer to join our engineering team in Stockholm. This is a role for someone who wants to take ownership, solve complex backend challenges, and contribute directly to the future of our financial platforms.

• Build, optimize and scale robust financial backend systems using Node.js and SQL (Postgres).
  

• Work primarily in the backend, but also touch on TypeScript, GraphQL and occasionally React.
  

• Tackle complex coding problems, design new solutions, and refine existing systems.
  

• Contribute to system architecture, ensuring scalability and reliability of our financial systems as well as championing best practices and continuous learning.

• Help drive improvements across our codebase, processes, and product, bringing that startup mindset where you take initiative, move fast, and get things done.

• Balance speed with quality, because we care about building things that last and seeing our work make a real difference for our users.

About you

• Strong background in backend development with Node.js and SQL databases (preferably Postgres).
  

• At least 5 years of professional experience, ideally in high-stakes environments like finance.
  

• Passionate about solving complex backend problems with clean, pragmatic solutions.
  

• Solid understanding of system design and architecture.
  

• Bonus if you’ve worked with React, Python, Go, GraphQL, Kubernetes, Google Cloud, or DevOps with Github Actions – but your backend expertise is what matters most.
