What You’ll Be Doing

As a Lead Engineer in our Apps team, you’ll take a hands-on role in building and shaping the core user-facing parts of Anyfin’s product ranging from our mobile apps to our web platform. While the role is mobile-first, you’ll work across the full stack to ensure a seamless, fast, and delightful experience for our users.

You’ll provide technical direction, coach other engineers, and help shape the architecture of new and existing services. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to bring ideas to life—without formal personnel responsibility or people management.

Your Responsibilities

• Drive architecture and implementation for frontend and full-stack features across mobile and web
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to define and deliver end-to-end solutions
• Take a leading role in code reviews, pair programming, and technical decision-making
• Contribute hands-on across the stack, primarily using React, React Native, Node, and TypeScript
• Help optimize performance, quality, and maintainability of our applications
• Mentor and support other engineers through technical guidance and knowledge sharing
• Promote modern engineering practices, including testing, CI/CD, and clean architecture

Who You Are

• A skilled software engineer with 5+ years of experience building modern applications
• You’ve led engineering initiatives or been a senior voice in a team—formally or informally
• Comfortable across frontend and backend, and excited by full-stack challenges
• Experienced with React Native, TypeScript, and cloud-native development
• Bonus if you’ve worked with Kotlin/Swift or other native mobile tools
• A team player who enjoys collaboration and knowledge sharing
• Excited by performance, optimization, and building for scale
• Curious, humble, and focused on delivering real value to users
