2023 has been an incredible year for us, and as we look ahead, our need for driven and experienced team members becomes even more crucial. That’s why we’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team and help shape the next chapter of Anyfin.

What you will be doing
As Senior Accountant, you’ll take a driving role in the development of our finance team. Your expertise will support the team and the broader business on all things accounting while continuously challenging and refining our routines and processes. This is a hands-on role where your contributions will directly influence our success and help lay the groundwork for scalable growth.

Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll be responsible for:

• Supporting and/or overseeing day-to-day accounting activities while supporting and mentoring team members (think of yourself as a sounding board for complex tasks).

• Owning the monthly and yearly closing processes, including external reporting.

• Preparing annual financial statements (following K3 regulations and if you have IFRS experience we won't hold it against you).

• Handling income tax declarations and collaborating with the team to drive and coordinate audits.

• Leading projects aimed at improving and streamlining our work processes.

• Consolidating the group’s income statements (RR) and balance sheets (BR).

Who you are
To thrive in this role, you’ll need both technical expertise and a knack for navigating the challenges of a fast-moving environment (yes, “stök” is part of the package). Independence, responsibility, and adaptability are your guiding stars, and you’re comfortable diving into complexity—whether it’s mastering tricky VAT questions or managing a multinational setup. Here’s what we’re looking for:

Must-haves:

• A few years of experience in the accounting field - the number of years is ultimately not important, the question is how hands on you have been.

• Solid experience with Excel (you probably have a favorite shortcut - we would love to hear about it).

• A proven track record of working independently in dynamic organizations.

• Experience in handling the type of challenges that come with fast-growing companies.

Bonus points for:

• Familiarity with NetSuite or other advanced accounting systems (SAP, for example).

• IFRS knowledge.

• Experience working with international entities and more complex tax scenarios.

Soft skills:

• You’re self-driven, thorough, and take ownership of your work.

• You embrace change and see it as an opportunity for growth.

• You’re not afraid to make mistakes (and learn from them).
