What You Will Be Doing
As the Engineering Manager at Anyfin, you’ll step into a flourishing environment full of opportunity and potential. You’ll collaborate with a diverse team of driven professionals, all embracing change because, let’s be honest, it happens whether we’re ready for it or not. You’ll lead both senior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collective growth. Each day brings new challenges, allowing you to make significant contributions right from your first day with us.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and nurture a high-performing engineering team, primarily utilizing your experience expertise in Python and Node.js

• Define technical direction and design according to architecture requirements, ensuring they align with our strategic goals.

• Engage in hands-on development as needed, influencing core backend systems leveraging your experience with Python and Node.js.

• Drive the design of efficient software and architecture, ensuring security, scalability and reliability.

• Collaborate autonomously with cross-functional teams to shape business strategies and ensure seamless integration.

• Share insights and best practices, cultivating a culture of knowledge sharing and innovation across the team.

Who You Are

• Someone who is not just a leader but also a doer. If you’re someone who enjoys being on the front lines with your team, writing code, and architecting solutions, while also leading and mentoring a group of talented engineers.

• A proven leader with a minimum of 5 years of experience leading and managing engineering teams, ideally with a focus on backend development.

• Has deployed software in kubernetes, ideally in GCP.

• Has developed high quality, mission critical software in python and/or typescript.

• Someone who understands that balance between perfection and pragmatism in software development is essential for team success.

• A strong advocate for clean, maintainable code—viewing it as foundational to our development processes.

• You get excited with software efficiency and performance

• You hate over-engineering.

• While experience in the financial sector is advantageous, it’s not essential; your passion for technology and leadership matters most.
