Who we are

Since our start in 2017 we have provided smart tools that help put financial power back in the hands of the people – where we believe it belongs. Everything we do is based on one vision: to improve the world’s financial health.

So far, we’ve helped Swedes, Finns, Norwegians and Germans save millions by refinancing expensive consumer credits. But we aim higher. New markets, new tools, new products and new ways of improving people’s financial lives. This means we need more brains and hearts to fuel our growth. We are an engineering and product company at the core and are now looking for a Frontend Engineer to join our Engineering team.

What you will be doing

• You’ll be responsible for the user’s first impression of Anyfin. Including but not limited to the look and feel of anyfin.com and everything else a person encounters on its journey to becoming a customer with us. You will assure this is the best possible experience it can be!
• In Engineering terms, this means you’ll be bringing our component-based design system to the next level! Making sure it follows the latest designs, while providing for an accessible and user friendly experience. We’re currently working with Next.js, React, Storybook and styled components, but are open for your input!
• Content is king; you’ll work closely with marketing to develop/deliver solutions that make content shine, leveraging our headless CMS integration. This allows you to rapidly iterate different designs and find the one that works best.
• You understand the impact of performance: you'll actively seek and act on ways to monitor our website's performance and optimize loading times by utilizing lazy loading, smart compression and more.
• No limit to your learning; as a member of our multidisciplinary teams, you’ll have the chance to bounce off ideas and be inspired by other technologies in our tech stack, such as React Native. No need to stick to what you already know!

Who you are

You have a genuine passion for continuous learning and a limitless curiosity for exploring promising opportunities. You’re not afraid to shake things up, involving people with various backgrounds to reach for the best possible outcome. You have the ability to effectively prioritize and deliver important and time-sensitive projects within specified timelines. Launching to production energizes you, while you proactively think about how to bring things to the next level.

In addition, we believe you possess:

• A computer science education or equivalent, and 1-3 years of experience working with React in combination with a SSR framework such as Next.js
• Experience working “across the stack”, meaning a general understanding of APIs, preferably having worked with GraphQL.
• A strong foundation in JavaScript, including TypeScript and Node.js.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
• While not a requirement, having a background in fintech is a plus.
• Exposure to cloud technologies, with knowledge of GCP being advantageous.

Overall, the app is a great tool to understand your finances better.
